Emily Gilbertson
Commercial Lead
Emily is the driving force behind GJB New Build’s commercial ventures, leading the team with precision, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her strategic insights, coupled with an innate ability to understand and cater to client needs, have been pivotal in steering GJB New Build towards remarkable commercial achievements.
Having earned a BSc in Psychology, Emily initially ventured into the field of mental health. This was followed by a notable stint in advertising. However, her passion and calling became evident when she transitioned into the construction industry after taking a break to focus on her family. With over a decade of experience under her belt, Emily now heads the Commercial team at GJB New Build. Her journey with the company has been marked by witnessing its growth, fostering strong client relationships, and consistently delivering outstanding results.
Stewart Gilbertson
Installations Coordinator
Stewart Gilbertson brings over 25 years of invaluable experience to his role as Head of Operations at GJB New Build. Starting his career as a labourer, Stewart honed his skills to become a Fitter and later excelled as a domestic service engineer. This diverse background has equipped him with an exceptional ability to address and resolve customer issues, making him a cornerstone in the field. In addition to holding both SSSTS and SMSTS health and safety qualifications, he has managed multiple teams for the last 12 years, specialising in both domestic and new build window fitting.
Stewart’s long-standing commitment to the industry has enabled him to cultivate strong relationships across various levels of operations, from site teams to the managing directors of large house builders. His wealth of experience, leadership acumen, and customer-focused approach make him an integral part of GJB New Build’s success.
Helen Bevan
Company Estimator
Helen Bevan is a seasoned professional in the uPVC window industry, bringing a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years. Holding a BSc in Economics, Helen commenced her illustrious career in the IT department of Abbey National Building Society, which later became Santander, as part of their graduate scheme. Since the inception of GJB New Build, Helen has been an integral member of the team, serving as the Company Estimator. Her role involves not only formulating precise quotes for house builders but also meticulously processing all window and door requisites for their site projects. With a profound commitment to excellence, Helen finds her role both challenging and rewarding, underscoring her passion for the industry.
